Biography

Redlight has had phenomenal chart success recently with tracks like Lost in Your Love, and is making real waves with his self styled ‘multicultural dance music’. Working with a number of labels, Bristol native Redlight started out in the early 2000’s under the alias DJ Clipz, changing to Redlight in 2009, the same year he set up the label ‘Lobster Boy’ for his productions. 2010 saw the release of two dance floor fillers. The first, ‘Stupid’ on Digital Soundboy featuring the vocals of Roses Gabour. The second single ‘What You Talking About?!’ on MTA Records, which featured Ms. Dynamite.
In 2011 two more tracks came via Digital Sound Boy in the shape of ‘Source 16’ and ‘Progress’ as well as remixing artists from Cee Lo Green and Maverick Sabre to Ms. Dynamite as well as the 2nd release on Chase & Status’ MTA label Get Out Of My Head featuring a Joker remix & the B side ‘Vampires’. In 2012 he released his second EP Mosquito/Planet X on the Lobster Boy imprint. He has recently premiered his new single “Switch It Off” due for release April 2013.
